Very nice Darjeeling. Very aromatic and “fruity.” Mild astringency, without being bitter. Taste lingers in the mouth for a while.

Well, the sudden influx of tea, plus my impending delivery of more tea is prompting me to get right on my sipdowns.
The nice thing/cupboard thwarting thing is that some companies send along samples. Harney is one such merchant, and in addition to the two teas I ordered, I am now the owner of three sachets of things they thought I might like to try.
Well, sachet samples are great for the office tea caddy, so they were swept along, and I pulled out this for my afternoon cuppa.
Very smooth, slightly floral, light and pleasant. Not the most earth-shattering Darjeeling I’ve ever had, but quite nice.
I am glad to have tried it, but even more glad to have it sippded down! Cupboard back to three pages!

Light, smooth, and aromatic. No bitterness at all. A very delicate black tea.
