this is a nice strong tea for a sunday afternoon. even with no steeping time at all it can handle milk & sugar, turns a taupe coloured brown. lots of flavour.
This traditional tea was first sold in Edinburgh as simply “Breakfast Tea” in the 19th century. Later, when it was brought down to London, merchants altered the name to “English Breakfast”.
