Last weekend, I was in an SCA event. And if you saw my picture on Instagram, I drink tea! For those who are curious, it was “Symphonie du Bonheur” from Lupicia France, a sample that my French friend was sent to me a few weeks ago.

So what about this tea? It’s really good, but the taste of vanilla was very delicate, if I compare to the roses. I also tasted something very sweet (maybe strawberries)but I’m not sure.

It was a real pleasure to drink but I would like to try it again because my cup was very big! ;)

Just a quick note on this one, as I only have a sample teabag: Lupicia.fr describes it as “the mellow sweetness of vanilla is matched with the sweetly sour fragrance of fruit … Blended with rosebuds,” but doesn’t say what fruit(s). It definitely tastes like strawberry to me, and the entire blend reminds me very strongly of Mariage Frères’ Marco Polo. Very similar, though perhaps more mellow. This is extremely pleasant, very smooth, genteel, relaxing. The rose is not perfumey at all.
