From New Mexico Tea Company

Made in the late summer months from July to September when the estate is in full production with perfect weather conditions, our monsoon harvest is specially plucked from select fields with clonal plants that give Glenburn tea its own unique character. Our Monsoon teas are characterized by a rich amber cup that is full bodied and smooth on the palate. The flavour can also be complemented with a dash of milk, unlike Darjeeling Teas from most other seasons.

My latest sample from the local tea store. The scent is mildly floral, and slightly earthy. There is a bit of a honey flavour. It’s a bit on the creamy side too.

Good for overcast days when you just want to play Harvest Moon.

I have had this tea twice and loved it both times. Full bodied, balanced, very slightly acidic and sweet, but in a mellow way. I have not tried it with milk – it strikes me as nearly perfect on its own.
