This delicate yet full-bodied tea from the first flush harves seduces the palate with notes of mellow spice, smooth honey and nuts. The light spicy notes are reminiscent of the neighbouring Darjeeling teas. However, while Darjeeling teas often have citrus notes, this first flush Sikkim is rich and smooth with notes of honey. This tea endures well in the mouth, with the rich honey body outlasting the spicy notes.
