7 Tasting Notes

I woke up this morning to find I’m involuntarily babysitting a 2month old. My beautiful niece, which gives me very little to do all day besides change diapers and drink tea! Yay! Sortof.

Anyways, on my recent order from Stash I bought a few teabags because I knew there would come a time where I just did not feel like going through the loose leaf struggle. Breakfast in Paris was one of them and this will be a definate reorder. I love bergamot, and vanilla, as I love most EGC but I don’t remember reading the description on this box. I really wamted a nicce flavored breakfast tea. The best of both worlds I suppose.

As I groggily made a cup with water from the Kuerig and made a babybottle at the same time everything may have gotten a bit mixed up ;) As little Myah is allergic to dairy I stayed away from the cream and simply added a tblsp and a half of raw sugar. (And two scoops of soy formula to the bottle) Stuffy as I am in the morning, the citris hit me good and caught my attention, and the bergamot lured me in. The sugar brought out the vanilla creaminess and made it a bit more filling. This is a great drowsy morning, nothing to do but chill breakfast tea. If Paris feels like a lazy morning then this tea is spot on.
Hay Wednesdays from Myah-Lemur and I. ;)

This tea…right here…? No this is mine. Yeah it does smell amazingggg. No you can’t have a cup, I’m sorry. No, not even from the third steep.

I’m starting to understand my tea preferences a little more every day. Also starting to understand why people like dessert teas so much. I only ordered a sample pack of this so I’m going to have to hide it. I will definitely be ordering a larger amount once I’m settled.

Right out of the bag the most amaazzing smell. Sweet cream and chewy caramel. The little pieces of caramel are cute. And they do not dissolve quickly. I still had a tiny piece left after the 3 steep. Very yummy with honey and natural cane sugar. The smell is a tiny bit muted after steeping but it still snells delightful.

Certain teas effect my acid reflux and this might be one of them. As there’s almost a coffee-like undertone. Anyone know the caffeine level?

I have never smelled an apricot. If they smell like coconuts somebody let me know. There’s definitely a fruity taste in there somewhere, but it’s faint. I dislike coconuts :( and this tea gave me coconut breath. I might try it iced, I can tolerate the taste if there isn’t a smell poking me in my sinuses.
Edit: My mum says that it does taste a little like apricot. So maybe it’s just me. Although it was cold. So who knows.
