The taste begins with the pleasant brown nut-like flavor characteristic of a Lung Ching, then moves to a seaweed green vegetal flavor and finishes with the classic bright astringency. A contemplative, physical green tea without a lot of subtlety, like hiking the Smokey Mountains with just the bare necessities.
2 Tasting Notes
This has been my wife’s favorite tea for years, so we always have some in the house. It enjoys a bit of milk but requires at least a lump of sugar, which is a negative for me. It has a nice almond, cinnimon, vanilla flavor and pairs well with knitting and the house of the three bears.
