I admit I bought this one from it’s picture. It turned out to be a pretty nice cake. I got it off aliexpress. The seller is no longer active there but I might check to see if he sells elsewhere.

Ah yes, it reminds me I bought this cake because it looked cool because they braided/twisted the leaf. Tastes too smokey for me and full of sticks after you get past the outer layer.

Old arbor Jingu Bai cake. The yums if you want something thats a bit shengy & white mixed up, quite easy, deep & with some complexity. Also looks the right business

One of the first cakes I bought was YS Impressions. To a significant extent it was because I loved the yin/yang wrapper.

That was the first one I bought. I’m still pretty new to puer so I’ve mostly been buying the 100g mini cakes. Buying full sized cakes I worry that I’ll end up with 200-400g of a tea that I end up not liking.

I should have said that I loved the way the tea brewed up as well! This tea has a very thick soup, with aromas similar to tangerine peel, honey, wild chamomile, while grapes, and even cedar in the last infusions. The soup also felt very cooling in the throat.

I feel like this a great tea for celebrating or sharing with close friends; it’s jovial and calming with lots of complexity.

I hope that helps give a picture of what this tea blend is like. :)
