Japanese Disaster Relief
Now through March 31, 2011 American Tea Room will donate 10% off ALL online sales to Japanese Disaster Relief. American Tea Room has extensive relationships with Japanese Tea Growers and Tea Ware manufacturers and our heart goes out to all those who are affected by this recent tragedy.
Would you be willing to share the organization you choose to donate to?
Suggestions from everyone else are also appreciated as we would like to offer some support as well, just gets confusing where to send the funds to with some many organizations out there.
I just made a personal donation to the Red Cross as I am familiar with them. So much disaster to deal with.

Feel free to donate on your own behalf as well. American Tea Room has such a personal connection to Japan that we wanted to be able to help as well as raise awareness.
Thanks for the great response this weekend. As you can see for yourself there are a series of disasters unfolding in real time before your eyes. A lot of assistance will be needed for years to come. We are glad we can do a small part to help alleviate that.
