Taiwan Tea Crafts is awesome! Great oolongs.

I just received my first order from Taiwan Tea Crafts. I’ve had two so far and they are really excellent. They are very different than anything I’ve tried before. They are really almost a new tea genre for me, very unexpected and new flavors. I’d highly recommend giving their teas a try. And they are very reasonably priced. I purchased 5 samples of 25 g each for $25, plus they threw in an extra sample. They have some organic and (uncertified) pesticide free choices. What do those of you who’ve tried their teas think? And which ones would you recommend?

Their black teas are pretty delicious if you like black teas. A few of my favourites are in to new lots now, that I haven’t yet tried.

I agree with Sil. I love their black teas, except for the aged ones. The hong yun one is super unique and the assams are my latest favorite.

Agreed! I picked up a handful of the black teas after hearing about them in the Misc Sales thread and in logs from Sil and TerriHarpLady and assumed they’d taste pretty much like the other similar sweet potato-ish smooth premium black teas I’ve had from Teavivre and Butiki…but they were distinctly different and great, with notes I’d never had in such teas before. I’m excited about the holiday sale.

I just realized that they have that free shipping offer if you spend $25 on samples only. I might have to give that a shot! (If I have any left over after Black Friday…)

It doesn’t actually have to be only samples, you just have to have at least 1 sample in your order!

Cool! I didn’t realize that either. (Although I’d probably stick with samples just to try more out)

Yes, I agree that they have some great teas, both blacks & oolongs. As is usual with me, however, I find the best value to be in their mid-priced options.

Their shipping / customer service is generally quite good. Having said that, however, I have had more problems with them than any other online tea company I have used.

Best wishes,

Ola :) Mantra Tea wishes to invite you to try a classy Ruby Black from Taiwan. It is more expensive, but that’s because it’s from an award-winning batch. This month, we opened a 75 gram bag and vacuum sealed it in 10 gram servings. So it’s an opportunity to try a fine Single Estate Tea, “by the glass” you might say :)

not sure promoting your own tea in a thread that was created to thank/cheer on/send on good feedback for another company is appropriate.

not to mention necro-spamming in so many different threads today (many on years old dead discussions), if you want to promote your tea make 1 post in the appropriate section, don’t plaster it everywhere like a cheap spambot. Also, rating your own teas… not so cool here.

Sil, I don’t agree with you, with all due respect for your seniority. Looking at some of the enthusiastic responses to certain posts, you must have yourself noticed the number of picture-less, profile-less members ooing and ahhing over some co or other. With that possibility not excluded here, I think my post presents valuable information about a comparable tea. I also note that I did not denigrate Tea Crafts’ offering.

I can assure you I’m just a regular member of the forum. Mantra Tea, I will just mention that I think people would be more amenable to your offerings if you didn’t advertise in this particular kind of discussion. I really like being exposed to Taiwan teas, but I must say that your post kind of turned me off.

I agree that your self-promotion (spam) in this thread is quite inappropriate, Mantra Tea Taiwan. It seriously damages your reputation, and is not a way to win loyal customers.
