Organic Kagoshima Asamushi Sencha – Grown organically in Kagoshima, this organic asamushi-cha (light steamed green tea) sencha has a rather intense green-yellow color to it, is clear, and carries a a nice grassy aroma. Not subtle, both the aroma and taste are a bit more intense than your typical light steamed green tea. We seldom come across a light steamed green tea packing this much flavor, let alone one that is organic. Very delicious, we are confident you will enjoy this product. As with all of our loose leaf green teas, packaged in nitrogen flushed packaging.

A delicious asa that has shades of a chu / fuka about it. Pleasingly grassy and astringent, with overtones of vegetal goodness as well. Brews a greener cup than many asa-s.
First infusion – 5 g. per 8 oz. water, 80 deg., 40 sec.
