The only occasion you would utter the words “needs more ginger” is when drinking this tea. I was in the mood for something heart-warming and zingy, so decided to give this a go. Unfortunately the ginger is pretty mild, even without milk, so I had to add ginger root to up the zing quota. Zing.

I love adding ginger root to teas:)

Miss Sweet

Me too! Its probably my most used additive, I like keeping lavender and rose on hand as well.

Cofftea

Rose is good. I want to grow all the different kinds of mint. When I came back from vacation, a friend gave me some spearmint, orange mint, and lemon verbena from her garden.

Miss Sweet

Ooh mint & lemon verbena! Will have to keep those in mind when I start my garden :)

What kind of kiss would this be, maybe a peck on the cheek? There’s also a hint of “pot pourri” in this tea, reminiscent of something I have tasted in Monk’s Blend. If you want a ginger flavoured tea maybe cut some slivers of fresh ginger root and add to your tea. That way it wouldn’t need the extra, unspecified ‘flavouring’. Not a lot of zing as you would expect from ginger. Overall, this tea is mild and drinkable but it’s not something I would stock up on.
