Tea Pop Cold Brew!
Because these cold brew sachets are designed to steep in cold water super quickly I wanted to try something different with this one – cold brewing it straight in carbonated water to see if I could make a teapop that way! At first it seemed like it wasn’t working because the air bubbles were making the sachet rise to the surface instead of allowing the sachet to fully submerge and infuse but with some gentle agitation to get the sachet moving around (but not enough to make the water go flat) it seemed to work!
The taste was really interesting. I don’t know why but I had kind of just assumed this would be peaches and cream flavoured, and with this tea pop I didn’t really get cream at all. The peach was super nice though! Fresh, a little floral and very natural tasting. The entire drink made me think of some kind of high end peach seltzer type of RTD and it was very crisp and refreshing. I think I’d totally make it again.
