Of course, I’m missing a whole slew of backlogged tea notes. At least it’s summer and I’m not drink as much tea as usual. Wait.. What am I saying? That is NOT a good thing.

So a mid-afternoon thunderstorm brought on more of the headache I’d had all day and a cup of tea became necessary. I’ve had this tea before several times but just have not logged it yet. My mom brought me TST’s Raspberry Black back from a trip to Savannah and she brought this for herself so of course I took a sample of it home with me too to enjoy.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had it though and I can’t remember how long I used to steep it for. I thought around 3 mins but I know I steep the Raspberry Black around 4 mins so I went with that. I do remember that I thought the peach was kind of artificial tasting before.

However, it was much better than I remembered this time. Which is good. Both because I enjoyed it and because I’ll likely drink the remainder of what I have left quicker now.

Backlogging. 10 days ago. Wednesday morning.

The February Backlog: From the 1st to today.

The night before I had been thinking it was time to try the smokey earl grey again. But then I thought why not smokey with other fruits. My initial thought was smokey Black & Blue but I went with smokey peach first. Omg it came out really good. Both steeps. Some slight ash tasting at points when cooled too much. But so good overall. I used normal amount of leaf to make a mug of this and 1/4 that amount of Caravan.
