A delight from first sight to last sip, Tielka’s Fairtrade Organic Earl Grey Royale is a treat to savour. Hand harvested and crafted by artisan farmers from ancient tea gardens of the Yunnan Province, China, this Dian Hong style black tea is expertly blended with genuine bergamot oil, sweet orange peel and vibrant wild cornflower petals. A recipe exclusive to Tielka and often hailed by Earl Grey lovers as “the best they have tried”.
This is my personal favourite Earl Grey rendition.
The cornflower petals and orange zest contribute to a delightful appearance. The aroma promises a full bergamot flavour, which the liquor delivers in company with smooth, rich Yunnan black tea and mellow orange. I have most appreciated this tea with a good novel on a lazy weekend. I imagine anyone fond of Earl Grey would appreciate it, especially given the use of genuine bergamot oil.
