20 Tasting Notes

Sakurambo Vert from Lupicia
88

Excellent green tea!
The berry taste is not overwhelming and the tea it self needs no added sweetener.
A good spring drink :-)

Bearonica's Berry Tea from Adagio Teas
71

Pretty good for a fruity tea.
I had it hot this morning but as the day warms up I may try it iced.
Good because the berry taste isn’t overwhelming. It’s sweet and tart, but not too strong.

Masala Chai from Adagio Teas
91

Very good Chai Tea!
Sweet on it’s own, needs no additives.
Currently I’m drinking it plain, but my next time around I may try it with milk and sugar…

Blackberry Sage from The Republic of Tea
64

Exam in a few hours and need to use my break to study… I grabbed this at my campus cafe thinking it would be a good black tea but I’m not too impressed…
It’s drinkable and not horrible, but the taste isn’t anything special and the smell is sort of like that of spoiled berries.
My next trip to the counter I’m grabbing a different tea.

Oksusu Cha (Corn Tea) from Puripan
86

Mmm, my first time trying corn tea. It’s pretty good!
While brewing it smells almost as if you have popcorn cooking.
The taste is kind of toasty… reminds me of fall.

Ti Kuan Yin from Adagio Teas
93

This tea is really great!
It has a strong but smooth taste with an earthy aroma.
Does not need anything added to it at all. Taste great as is.
Lives up to the great reviews others have given it.
Thanks to Jenny for sending this to me:-)

Mint and Honey Green Tea from Sweet Leaf
50

I grabbed this with my lunch at Freebirds yesterday… I really didn’t enjoy it cold but heated up today it taste great.
Still, my general recommendation would be to grab another tea with your lunch :-p

Herbal Revive: lemon and ginger from Twinings
85
Passionfruit Mango (Red) from The Republic of Tea
68

I had this hot on campus today.
It was pretty good… but for some reason I thought the mango was a little too strong…

Herbal Revive: lemon and ginger from Twinings
85

A friend just sent me this tea today.
I’ve been feeling ick from the crazy spring weather and this stuff was just what I needed.
I love lemon tea, but sometimes the lemon can be overpowering.
This was not the case with this tea at all.
So tasty! My new favorite bagged tea.

Passion from Tazo
75

Drank this again this morning.
Still good :-)

Passion from Tazo
75

I tried this tea today and really enjoyed it.
Great for a bagged tea. Sweet in taste so it doesn’t need anything added to it.

Pomegranate Decaf from The Republic of Tea
83

This is excellent hot or iced:-)
I’m currently drinking it iced.

Awake- Filterbag from Tazo
50

I’m never very impressed with Tazo teas, but I have a gift box that I need to go through, lol
Normally when I order this from Starbucks it is too bitter for me to drink.
Today I steeped it at home for only about a minute and it’s actually pretty drinkable:-)
Not my favorite black tea, but it will do.

Berryblossom White from Tazo
47

I steeped this for about two minutes and it became very bitter fast.
I don’t really taste the berry but I’m going to try it again later with a shorter steep time.
Maybe then it will taste better.

organic chamomile with lavender from Traditional Medicinals
59

I prefer loose leaf tea, but this isn’t bad when I’m out :-)
The directions say to steep for 10-15 minutes but I think that’s a little long.
I normally steep for 3 and it comes out just fine.

Sleepytime Vanilla from Celestial Seasonings
81

This tea is great when I have a craving for something sweet.
I know it’s supposed to be for bedtime, but I normally have it in the mornings with toast and jam.

Sleepytime from Celestial Seasonings
85

When I was a kid this tea was part of my bedtime ritual.
Sleepytime tea and a book read by dad:-)

Today I enjoy drinking it whenever, but it will always remind me of my childhood.

Oriental Moon from TeaGschwendner
91

I picked this up during a trip to Chicago.
It is DELICIOUS! It’s a pity I didn’t buy more while I was at Tea Gschwendner as I’m running low.
Sweet but strong tea. Great iced during the summer.

PG Tips from PG Tips
78

This tea is great during exams :-)
I normally brew for about two minutes and it comes out strong enough to keep me awake but not so bitter that I can’t drink it.
