drank White Blueberry by Adagio Teas
176 tasting notes

I was delighted when my phone buzzed and Twitter announced to me that my order from Adagio had arrived! I recently discovered that I love white tea, so this order contained mostly flavored whites. I was most excited for White Blueberry, so I dug right into this tin and was delighted with what I saw.
The tin was full of gorgeous white tea leaves mixed with an almost equal amount of real blueberries. The aroma emanating from the mixture was very sweet. It smelled like real blueberries instead of smelling all artificial like some flavored teas I’ve had from Adagio.
The tea looked beautiful as it steeped, because the tea “dust” was washed off from the blueberries, making them turn a very pretty pinkish-purple color. It smelled wonderful as it was steeping. The sweetness was toned down a whole lot.
The taste was great, too. The white tea is very distinct, but the blueberries are as well. These two very pronounced tastes blend wonderfully. It’s obvious that they are two very different tastes, but everything is still cohesive. It really has an authentic blueberry taste. The after-taste is all blueberry.

In short, this is a great cup of tea. As an added note, I’m drinking this from my new Jumbo Cup from Adagio that my mother just gave me for my birthday. I really like the cup, too!

Bio

I have recently been forcibly transplanted from Princeton, New Jersey to Burleson, Texas. I’ve been recovering from culture shock ever since. When I’m not dodging scorpions and pickup trucks, I’m a college student, drummer, lover of music and animals, Harry Potter freak, and a vegetarian. I just got a job at a bookstore, which is the perfect place for somebody like me.
