Maybe it’s because I’ve been drinking dessert teas all day, but I don’t find this one as rich as Crowkettle reported.

Either that, or the paper bag I used (too lazy right now to clean strainers) really makes a difference in the amount of sugar that makes it into the cup.

The flavour isn’t quite as strong as I thought it would be, but it’s pretty darn tasty. And if I was motivated enough to go put a little sugar in here, I bet it would taste just like the candy nougat it smells like…

I had another cup tonight and it didn’t come out as rich or sweet as yesterday, either. I don’t know if it was the milk I used, or the fact that the nougats didn’t melt this time, or just funny taste buds!

OMGsrsly

I guess that just means I’ll have to drink more tea to see how it changes with different steeping parameters. Shucks and darn! :)

I mostly drink black tea.

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
