I’m confused. It doesn’t taste like lemon or basil. It’s just a plain wulong… What’s going on ?!

Hum. This is a good black tea. It lightly smells and tastes «gourmand» and sweet with a hint of cinnamon but I cannot identify maple syrup (or maple toffee) in there.

drank Paris by Harney & Sons

This tea smells heavenly. Honey and vanilla and pastries and Paris :). However, while this isn’t a bad tea, I just wish the flavours were more obvious once steeped. If I’m paying 10$ for 40g, I want my experience with the tea a bit more intense.

Not sure about this tea yet. I haven’t had many good experiences with rooibos nor with white tea or fruity tea. Because of its fruity flavour, I guess it would be nice as an iced tea. I will try it again but I’m not sure yet I would repurchase it.

Good chai! Nothing quite mesmerizing, but it was good. Unfortunately, Teh Bar doesn’t make it anymore.

Not bad at all, especially for the price

drank Green Jasmine by Fortnum & Mason

I received this as a gift, so I don’t know if it’s expensive or not but I really enjoy it. It’s a very simple jasmine green tea, nothing special.

I wish it the ingredient list was shorter and that it would taste more like pure mint (like peppermint herbal from Harney & Sons). All those other spices makes me feel like I’m drinking a tea for sore throat, which is not what I’m looking for.

(This was my first milk oolong) Beh, I cannot overcome its aftertaste.

I’m a curious person, I always love to discover new things, new teas, new brands.

I’ve tried several things from David’s Tea as it is the most accessible tea store in Montréal and that there is no minimum amount when buying in bulk. I’ve also tried a few teas from Camellia Sinensis and Kusmi, but their minimum amount makes me try less things.

I would really like to try new brands, especially French brands such as Mariage Frères, Dammann Frères, le Palais des thés and Fauchon. There’s also a lovely tea store in Québec city called «Monsieur T» that I would like to try.
