Liquor Color: dark green herbal
Leaf Characteristic:

I like steeping this tea very hot and drinking it as hot as I can tolerate it. I take one of the tea bags and put this in my mug and add the boiling water over the tea bag and I leave it to steep for a good five minutes plus.

The tea has a very strong aroma of herbs…like being out back in the garden while it is steaming hot and one can smell the sweetness in the grassy mixtures of the different herbs/plants that is growing. It is a heady and sweet smelling. When I sip of the tea it is indeed sweet and nothing astringent about this tea.

I sip the tea slowly since it is very hot and enjoy the tea’s warmth as it glides down my throat and breathing out after each swallow. It is a good cup of tea.

Overall tasting notes: This tea makes me think of licorice but not as sweetly and of dark leafy herbs with hints of ginseng since there is a slight acidic base to it. It is most mild.

Classification: Year, and region of production;(2010)Product of China

Cup’s characteristic: herbal tea

Liquor color: dark green herbs

Taste: This tea is definitely that of a cup of herbal tea with hint of ginseng, licorice but more like Senna tea. The way that this tea is sweet on you, makes me like it all the more for nothing in particular and it is night time for a restful sleep.

A review of Instant Thai Tea (with cream and sugar) by NR Instant Produce Co, LTD

Region: Thailand
Steeping Vessel/Amt Leaf: cup/ 1 tea bag of Thai tea
Liquor Color: Orange cream

Steeping:

1st Steeping:
Water Temp: 200 Fahrenheit
Time: 1 minute

I had refrained from having this for weeks now it seems. When I first received it, I was fixing it as my daily drink for breakfast or as my mid-day drink, and then I stopped having it and went back to having green teas or such. This morning, however, I reached for one of the Thai Tea pouch and tore open the bag, emptying the contents in my cup and adding the boiled water to my cup while stirring it briskly at first then a bit sturdier and faster until the content dissolved. Teas’ aroma is that of cream sickles or orange cream and when sipping of the tea, it is smooth and sweet.

This tea is really a wonderful breakfast or anytime of day fixture to help get you through the day.

Overall tasting notes: The tea is wonderfully rich and smooth; like a fruity shake without all of the fuss since all that is needed is the tea packet’s content and some freshly boiled (or cold) water depending on preference. I enjoy this tea very hot since the smell of the creamy and milky froth adds delight to my morning.

Classification: Year, and region of production; Product of Thailand

Cup’s characteristic: rich and creamy cup of Thai Tea favoring that of orange flavored ice-cream but warm.

Liquor color: orange cream

Taste: rich and smooth with an overall creamy texture

A review of Bamboo tea mixed with China Green Tea by Korica

Steeping Vessel/Amt Leaf: cup/ tea bags
Liquor Color: golden brown
Leaf Characteristic:

Water Temp: 200
Time: 3 minutes
I drink tea daily but I don’t always feel like recording them of late. I am not sure (I am easily bothered with all things around me of late; as the madness is worsening for me). I am angry at the world to tell the truth. So I am problematic and possibly dangerous since I am admitting as much.

I took two tea bags of the China Green Tea and one tea bag of the Bamboo tea and put this in my cup and I poured in the boiled water into my cup and leaving it to steep for few minutes.

Tea colors to a dark golden brown and smells strongly of green tea. When I sip of the tea it is strongly astringent with mild hints of the bamboo in the back ground. How to describe the taste of the tea? It matches my mood which is one of anger and unhappiness so a cup of bitter tea is what is needed to match this reviewer’s tea palette.

I have been drinking this throughout the day by simply adding more hot water into my cup and with more infusions the tea is not as bitter as first cup.

Overall tasting notes: strong green tea

Classification: Year, and region of production; Product of China

Cup’s characteristic: green tea with some bamboo tea

Liquor color: golden brown

Taste: A bitterness that lessen with more infusions.

Dangerous? Naw! I suspect we’d get on well in person :)

I am having this new dietary tea as part of my night time ritual since I cannot seem to get rid of the pounds. Try as I may, the pounds stay on. I did as instructed on the side of the tea box; to steep on tea bag in a cup of boiled water for five minutes.

Tea is dark reddish brown with an herbal like aroma and when tasting of the tea it is mildly sweet. When ever I drink this type of tea; I am reminded of a malted type brew but only it is tea and more like herbal tea.

I continue to enjoy this tea hotly as it is helping me to relax.

Tea Type/Varietal: herbal

Liquor Color: malt Goya like drink
Leaf Characteristic: each tea bag contains loose sugar like granules of the herb Oldenlandia

Steeping:

1st Steeping:
Water Temp: 200 Fahrenheit
Time: 1 minute

I purchased this tea during a visit to Chinatown in Boston, MA. I had not been there in a long while and I was happy to visit this store that I used to frequent at least once a week when much younger as I was able to visit the city daily. I worked in the city and getting around to different parts of it was easier.

The water having boiled, I let cool a bit; I take the tea bag and tear it open and pouring its content in my cup. I add in the boiled water and stirring the mixture until the granules have all dissolved. What I am left with is a frothy drink that is a dark reddish color (amber/malt in taste & flavoring).

Tea’s aroma is very sweet with an earthy tone; it smells of herbs and when I sip of the tea it is creamy, smooth and sweetly cup of herbal tea.

Overall tasting notes: Herba Oldenlandia Diffusa beverage is a herbal drink that clears up heat and toxicity from the body.

Cup’s characteristic: sweet and malty…sugary malt

Liquor color: dark amber/malt

Region: China
Steeping Vessel/Amt. Leaf: cup/ tea bag
Liquor Color: light golden
Leaf Characteristics:

Steepings

1st Steeping:
Water temperature: 200 Fahrenheit
Time: 1 minute

This tea is part of a series of tea that I purchased while visiting Chinatown in Boston the other day. I had not been there in the longest while. Anyhow, I ended up purchasing several of their teas and forgot to buy some Oolong teas. I will have to plan another visit.

For now I have teas like this one to enjoy. This tea comes individually pack sachet and I take one and empty its content into my cup and add in the boiled water and the granules dissolve at one. I stir it just a bit more and I have a lovely froth in my cup; kind of like beer foam since the tea’s color is a dark brown-sugary-malt brew. When I sip of this tea it is very sweet and warm. I want to say it sort of taste like ginger tea or ginseng to be more exact.

This is another wonderful tea for me to keep in the cupboard and I hope to one day feel the teas many health benefits. For now, to simply enjoy this tea is enough.

This cup of tea is steeped for five minutes, resulting with a strong pungent flavor and a fresh aroma that I imagine is full of vitamins and antioxidants which are all good for this person. It is a good thing; I think that I am learning to like Yerba Mate. As I recall an earlier review where I could not discern anything of the then similarly tea.

This tea’s second steep is not as pungent as first cup of tea but it does still make for a good cup of tea.

This tea is to be enjoyed anytime of the day. I find that I can substitute it for lunch by fixing myself a big cup of this tea. I simply take one of the tea packets and empty it into my larger mug and add in the boiled water while stirring the contents until dissolved. I can also microwave it for a minute longer to have it even hotter and more frothiness.

Nothing else is needed and I simply sip and sip of this tea. It is that good; as it is both creamy and smoothly rich inviting for more sips. Yummy and I am thankful for the tea!

I like to drink tea less so than when I was aptly reviewing teas. I find that I like less and less of things as I age. I am a somber spirit who prays daily to not be at all. Thank you Steepster for all that you do to enrich tea drinkers.
