Screw you, Starbucks! I can have pumpkin spice in July if I feel like it!!
Whether the weather or just the morning air is cold, this blend of hazelnut, caramel, and pumpkin spice — with a few extra sprinkles of cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom — is just right for all your witching hour needs. (It’s also a nod to oldskool Homestar Runner fans, too. Happy “witch’s bwoo” to you!)
My “hubs” and I, along with the rest of the early-2000s-remembering crowd, used to enjoy the comedy stylings of Homestar Runner from time to time. On their grand old flash site, they were known to throw around the phrase “witch’s brew,” albeit said with Homestar’s standard speech impediment. Even now, it’s a phrase we still think of often when our tea-thoughts turn to autumn flavors and winter elegance, and it makes for a delightfully nutty blend.
