Our Limited Hand Rolled Giddapahar originates from the family owned Giddapahar Tea Estate near Kurseong (Kurseong translates to Land of the White Orchids) in the Darjeeling District of West Bengal, India. The Giddapahar Tea Estate is also known as Eagles Cliff and is situated on a mountain at an elevation of 4,800 feet. Only 11 kilograms (just over 24 pounds) of this rare tea were produced. Our Limited Hand Rolled Giddapahar is a 2014 second flush Darjeeling and has sweet toasted almond, peach, and blackberry notes. Jasmine, hay, and muscatel notes are also present. This tea has gorgeous hand rolled leaves, a bright golden liquor, and a heavier mouthfeel with little astringency.

Recommended Brew Time: 3 minutes 30 seconds
Recommended Amount: 1 level tablespoon of tea for 8oz of water
Recommended Temperature: 200 F
