From Dobra Tea

Yunnan Black
A very aromatic black tea from the southwestern province of Yunnan. This fully fermented tea contains many orange-gold tips that give it an unusually sweet taste with a slightly spicy note. We serve it in a porcelain tasting cup.

This is a pretty good yunnan. I tried it at 3, 2 and 2.5 mins with the latter being the best. Not too astringent with a mellow malt to it.

Ordered in Dobra Čajovna tearoom in Pardubice as Dian Hong cha. So, that said, I don’t know steeping parameters. The staff prepared a teapot of it and said me I can get second steeping if I want to.

The tea seems not that fresh as I am used to. Taste is honestly quite weak, I notice minerality, salt, little of leather and malt. It is tannic, little astringency.

It’s not wrong, just bit boring.

News section: government shut down all schools except kindergardens. Due to coronavirus. Holidays? I don’t think so.
