From Tealux

This taste explosion reflects all the newest trends. The glowing, ripe and slightly tangy acerola cherry is perfectly matched by the strong, summery sour cherries and ripe, dripping, sweet pineapple. A dash of lemon grass brings just the right amount of tanginess to this green tea blend. Without question an intensely fruity summer hit for some years to come… even far away from the sunny beaches!.

Ingredients: organic green tea, lemon grass, pineapple cubes (pineapple, sugar), pineapple flakes, flavoring, freezedried acerola cherries, sour cherries, freeze-dried sour cherry pieces, safflowers.

Mastress Alita’s sipdown challenge – February Tea #3: A cherry tea

additional notes:  This is my not-really-a-sipdown pass for this month, because it is also my oldest cherry tea.  But I forgot all about this one AND how good it is.  The flavor is still lovely cherry and pineapple.  How DID I forget this one?  I wish they still had it for sale… for when it is (eventually) gone. Reading my original tasting note, this was FREE with my order! What a great choice.

this one doesn’t work for me. It’s cherry and has a tangy zip to it but the smell is too artificial or something and gets in my nose. i suspect there are those who would really enjoy the flavours at play here, but they’re not for me :)

The problem with cherry teas are that they’re horrible by being too artificial or gross. I love cherries, but I haven’t found the right one, yet.

Maddy Barone

It sounds like a white tea from DAVID’s. I liked that one but not enough to restock.

This one is delightful. The cherry doesn’t taste fake. It would be wonderful iced.
