From Westholme Tea Company

Style: Black

Origin: Dinjoye Estate, Assam, India

Description: Unique, exquisite, and well-rooted in Dinjoye’s distinctive terroir, Cream of Assam SFTGFOP (Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe) is flavourful and remarkably smooth. The liquor is a bright and lively red umber, the cup is aromatic, inviting and full-bodied.

Tasting Notes: The flavour of this tea builds in strength and boldness on the palate over time, as is typical of an Assam tea, but rounds out before the cup becomes overly astringent or bitter. The taste is well-balanced, with a full-bodied sweet malt and pleasant linger.

Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 100ºC water. steep 3-5 minutes.

THis one is like a red rose/every day sort of tea for me. Nothing special, so i likely won’t purchase it again as it’s slightly astringent rather than the sweet malt of it’s description. Not a bad tea but it’s “whatever”
