Dinahsaur drank Darjeeling by Twinings

I have been drinking my bagged black teas with milk and sugar for as long as I can remember. Twining’s Darjeeling has always been one of my favorites.

Since I have been drinking tea more seriously lately, this is the first time I’ve had it in a while. The initial aroma is pleasantly sweet and malty. Unfortunately, when sipped plain, it is overly bitter. I am beginning to believe that it is just not as good as I remember.

After trying some plain, I added in my typical sugar and milk and it brought back some of my former feelings. However, I can now detect the undertone of tea that just isn’t quite the quality that I thought or hoped for.

I still will drink this tea, but probably not with the regularity I once did.

This is a good teabag Darjeeling, and I drink it when I see it in restaurants HHMMM, 2.5 min at 185 degrees seems ok, but last time I had this tea it was overly bitter too. :-/

Yeah, it’s definitely good for a teabag Darjeeling, but I guess I’ve been spoiling myself too much lately. ;)

There’s not a lot to say about me, I suppose. I’m a pretty standard nerdy girl in a lot of regards, from my taste in music, books, and movies to my penchant for getting completely wound up in various activities and hobbies. One of my hobbies that never seems to fade away is my joy in writing. I’ll write about any number of topics and have been working on keeping up my personal blog like never before.

Doing so has inspired, in part, my blog about Tea. Fun and FlirTea is dedicated to introducing tea to and enticing today’s younger, coffee-drinking generation. It’s a fun place to learn about tea and hopefully start meeting more people as well!

More than almost anything else, I enjoy sharing the things I love and helping spread that joy. So now it’s time for me to do this with tea, and I couldn’t be more excited!
