Sinharaja from Golden Moon Tea
77

2nd steeping and the flavour has been toned down quite a few notches. I am picking up a bit of a sweetness to the tea, but again none of the suagr or honey everyone else has raved about. Which is kind of odd – are my taste buds deffective?

Anyway to me the dominent taste on this steep is a mild toasty flavour. It’s probably my favorite of the few straight Ceylon teas that I’ve tried, although I guess that isn’t really saying all that much. I think it might be nice with some milk, so I’ll try it that way next time.

Bio

I’m a university student in her mid-twenties who’s currently working her way toward a Bachelor of Natural Resource Science degree. I love both science and science-fiction and I’m a history nut on top of that. Maybe I should just call myself a nerd and leave it there. ;)

I’ve been drinking tea since I was young but it’s only in the past couple years that I’ve become interested in the good-quality stuff.

I’m also a self-proclaimed Grammar-Nazi, and improper capitalization and spelling invariably makes me twitch (yes, I mean you!)
