This is a very good Chai – nice balance of spices. It is my “standby” Chai when I am in the mood for Chai tea. I also use it as my base and have mixed in other teas with it – such as Teavana’s Toasted Nut Brulee and Chocolate Chai.

I thought this would be a nice variation on a Chai tea. Sadly, it was so bad that I threw away the entire package. It had some flavor that was just off-putting – perhaps a strong Caradmon? I am not sure – and I love Chai – just not this Chai. At all.

I really enjoy this tea – it has the right balance of cinnamon and other spices to make a nice blend. I have only tried it hot, but I might try it iced.

I was so looking forward to this tea! So many of the “dessert” teas actually have hidden carbs in them. I was looking for an armotic tea with the richness of caramel flavor. Unfortunately, the flavor of this tea tasted odd – artificial. I hate to waste good tea….but I don’t see myself drinking this tea again.

This tea is for Cinnamon lovers – it tasted like I was drinking a red hot Valentine’s day candy! A bit too much cinnamon for me.

I was looking for a nice, spicy Chai that had a strong cinnamon flavor to it. I had hoped that this Chai would be the one that I was searching for. Alas, it was not. It was a good Chai. There is a cinnamon note – it is just fairly subtle. My search continues….

I am relatively new to tea. My prior experience with tea was limited to tea at Asian restaurants and iced tea from Starbucks. I pretty much shunned tea.

A few months ago, I started a restrictive diet and was looking for something with flavor that had zero calories, zero sugar and zero carbs. With that in mind, I wandered into a Teavana store and walked out with a massive amount of tea and a lighter wallet.

Since that purchase, I have discovered David’s tea. While I primarily prefer Teavana tea, I do not like how Teavana does not provide any carb/sugar information on their teas. Based on David’s tea, it is likely that many of the Teavana teas would have sugars and carbs that I can’t have in my teas.

So, for the time being, I am focusing on teas that do not have many dried fruits or other sugary added ingredients. My current favorite is chai teas – but I have found there is quite a bit of variety of chai tea from place to place.
