probably my favorite, I think this is the house tea at Russian Tea Time 77 E Adams
16 Tasting Notes
this is one of my favorites, to me this is sort of unusual flavor
from Chinatown, sweet but very clean and crisp and refreshing
to me this is very similar to PGTips
I pick this up when ever Im in Chinatown, and today I threw in some rosemary and thyme cause Im sick with a head-chest cold
I was wet and cold and crabby and tired, this totally hit the spot Mmmm
this one was pretty good
this Lapsang Souchong from TeaGschwendner seemed very weak to me
tastes like wheat grass juice, and I should know, I grew up in a health-food store, lol, just because I dont like it I gave it a low score, but I do know others that love this stuff
I love this on a wet cold day with just a teensy bit sugar and milk
I found this to be less smoky than the various Lapsang Souchong I get in Chinatown
reminds me of my Granma, she used to make this quite often, I have it loose in the oval cardboard canister
this is my old stand-by here in Chicago we have pretty good tap water so this turns out GREAT for me, no funny smell, I only steep for about a minute and a half and dont squeeze the bag so its never bitter unless I forget and stew it
Ive been drinking this tea forever, here in Chicago I get it at Bobak’s on Archer ave
Czar Nikolas II also comes in a Silver package: Black Currant, Strawberry (Nostalgia)
this one is my favorite flavor from this line and I think it is the house tea at Russian Tea Time on Adams street here in Chicago
Blue package: Safflower, Marigolds, Blue Mallow Blossoms (Renaissance)
black pkg and a green pkg which both taste like Earl Grey
I have this tea, I make it with fresh lemon peel and palm sugar, and just let it sit in my dancing leaves teapot for as long as it takes me to finish, never gets bitter but then doesnt have enough oompf to make another pot
