I am enchanted by the story of this family, specially for Mrs Ume, who fighter for her tea garden and the culture of tea in the region. They are producing quality orthodox black tea from camellia sinensis assamica.

I bought this tea about a month ago, in New Delhi, and opened it today.
Nice presentation, leafs are in good size and lots of tippy leafs.
Nice smell, that resembles Darjeeling, a bit, but once drinking, I found it with more body than Darjeeling. Water became goldie ambar colour and I could feel something in between caramel, muscatel, and little salty in such a way. Good after taste, and little adstringency.

Flavors: Caramel, Muscatel, Salty

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 3 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 10 OZ / 300 ML

This was a recommendation from the guy behind the counter, and I am so glad I took his advice and got some of it!
Its just perfect! Right balance, smooth sensation in the mouth, low astringency, sweet taste of peach, I guess.

It is a nice blend, but good as afternoon tea, I think. Not really strong (for my taste) to have as morning tea, and probably better to drink without milk, or let it steep for longer time, to be able to do so.

Flavors: Flowers

Preparation
Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 250 ML
Ysaurella

the tea base of this one is really mellow for sure.

Amazing green colour!
Has that particular Japanese green tea taste, very rich, feels a bit sweet and has a little spinach taste, it seams.
Excellent after taste!

Silver needle is special to me.
I like the clear colour, I like the body, I like the smooth taste, sweet aroma.
And I feel I can get the most of it if I steep it for longer than the 3 minutes recommended in the packaging.
Never add nothing more than just the tea and water.
I enjoy the ‘magic’ each silver needle cup of tea brings me! :) Its delightful!

Flavors: Jasmine

Preparation
180 °F / 82 °C 3 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 250 ML

This tea it was such a discover to me, this week. I am so glad I have a pack of it at home.
I don’t really like to put things as ‘the best I’ve ever had’, but this one is for sure one of the best black tea I’ve ever had, indeed!
Golden Monkey has body, smooth taste, could notice some cocoa in it. Package label said to steep for 5 minutes, but you could even steep for a bit longer, once it does not get bitter that easily

Flavors: Cocoa

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 250 ML
