The aftertaste is very long lasting – it is pretty good overall

I brewed this tea using a teapot (95°C: 7’) and a gaiwan (95°C : ’20 – ’25 – ’40 – ’45).
It is one of the best Tie Guan Yin I have tasted until now. It has a mild roast sensation at first then a more fruity note kicks in to stay in your mouth for a while. Everyone I shared it with loved it from tea lovers to tea agnostics! It is a deliciously safe bet.
You can also try it at the boutique perfectly brewed!
Brewed in a small teapot : 35’’, 30’’, 45’’, 1’00, 1’30, 2’00.
Strong oolong with a flowery taste. a slight citrus after-taste, very nice.
Brewed in a small teapot : 15’’ – 30’’ – 45’’ – 60’’ – 1’30 – 2’00 – 3’00
The first infusion was too light.
Very nice Tie Guan Yin with a milky texture and a flowery taste.
I’ve tried this one at Thes de Chine directly the first time, and I cannot reach the same (very good) taste … yet :)
I drank it at Thes de Chine directly, in the tea tasting room. 2 infusions in a medium-sized teapot (40/50 cl I’d say). The first was a bit light to my taste, the second was very good.
A nice tea with a nutty/ripe fruit taste. A little citrus after taste.
Nice Pu Er.
I’ve tried it in a big teapot and in gong fu cha in a small teapot (after rinsing in both cases), it was nice without any off taste and without anything out of normal.
Good every day Pu Er
Brewed in a small teapot : 20 cl – 35’’, 35’’, 45’’, 60’’, 1’30’’
I also tried it in a zhong : 10 cl – 25’’ – 30’’ – 45’’ – 60’’ – 1’30’’ – 2’30’’
and a big teapot : 70cl – 5’
I waited this new batch for 6 months now :)
Well, I was expecting more honey and less freshness from this tea.
It is a good, and I can feel/smell a taste of honey that I can bring strong enough either in gong fu cha or in a big teapot.
The tea has a taste of fruit and freshness, not really like green tea, more like a white one. Medium after taste of fruit/honey. Not like anything I’ve tried before.
I will let the leaves at rest for a little bit and try it again with my little teapot of 10 cl, maybe the honey taste will be stronger.
My last leaves.
I’ve bought a smaller gong fu cha teapot and … the tea tastes even better.
Small teapot 10cl : 20’’ – 25’’ – 40’’ – 60’’ – 1’30 – 2’30.
Very good Dan Cong with a strong fruity after taste. After the last brew, the after taste stayed in my mouth for a long time.
Not too hard to brew compared to some Dan Cong.
Very good tea.
Ahhh my last leaves.
Brewed in a small teapot 10cl : 15’’ – 20’’ – 35’’ – 45’’ – 60’’ – 1’30 – 3’00
The taste of jasmine is stronger than before.
The flower scent fill the mouth. Light after taste, this tea just miss a strong one.
It’s a shame to sell such a good tea at this price :) I will buy some more soon.
Excellent Bai Mu Dan with full leaves. Brewed in a big teapot (0.7cl), I put a lot of leaves (I didn’t weight them though).
Grassy, nutty and round.
Brewed in a small teapot (20cl) at 90°C : 30 – 35 – 45 – 1’00.
I tried to reduce the time of the first two infusions to lessen the roast taste and increase the fruity taste. It works but the roasted taste remains.
Brewed at 90°C in a small teapot (20cl).
4 brews : 30s – 45s – 60s – 2’00.
I tried putting more leaves than usual and the jasmin after taste was very present in the first brew.
Brewed at 80°C.
I tried to do it in a small teapot instead of a zhong. I liked the taste better, it was more “round” I think.
Ok for a tea at this price.
Brewed in a small teapot : 30s – 40s – 60s – 2’00.
Brewed with mineral bottled water.
After taste less strong than usual (I probably should have put more leaves)
I tried to brew it in a small Yixing (20cl) teapot. 80°C : 30s – 40s – 1’00.
Far better than with the zhong usual brew !
Fruity and less grassy.
90°C in a big teapot.
Light fragrance, good for an every day tea.
Brewed in zhong (10cl) 80°C, 6 brews.
Brewed in a small teapot, strong after taste.
