Verdant rewards code question(and one about black friday too)
So realizing black friday is fast approaching I redeemed my points for gift certificates( one $10 and one $5) Now I’m scared I might have thought to do this too late. Without them it’s unlikely I’ll be able to get one of the Terroir Gift Sets that I"ll be staying up late for.
Oh and anyone want to venture a guess on how much they’ll cost? I already took the quiz and got my $10 off code for the set I’d like(I hope they are combinable if my other codes come through n time). I told myself no more tea this year not even black friday and then… well… damn you Verdant with your tempting brews! ;)
When I ordered my gift certificate it came the same day but went to my junk mail so I didn’t find it for a few days.

I got an auto-response saying it was redeemed but it said the code could take up to 7 days! I really really hope that’s just a contingency for if the whole internet comes down not a regular occurrence.
Right now I’m nervously checking my paypal balance and drinking my dong ding oolong in an attempt to calm myself.
The same thing happened to me, but it was just before they were releasing more lotus gaiwans. I redeemed for a certificate, then climbed the walls when I realized that I might not get it in time (in case there was a small number and they sold out). Lol.
I ended up emailing customer service and this nice lady (though I can’t remember her name) gave me my code in an email right away instead of me waiting the 7 something days for it.
So maybe give that a shot?

They’re probably off work this late and since tomorrow is a holiday I won’t get my hopes up too high but that’s a good idea.

Thank you, boychik. We have to create and send the redemption codes manually (one of us makes the code and then e-mails you, which is why there’s sometimes the delay). We’re all away from the office/teahouse right now for the holiday, but I know David and I will back in before the end of the day tomorrow ;) I will make sure to send yours out tomorrow with Frolic’s – feel free to PM me as well!
What time zone does “midnight” happen in for black friday?

So far it’s been a great Thanksgiving – we’re putting together all of the last minute deal double-checks while the Tea Cats snooze by the fireplace and keep us company :)
I too have a tea cat snuggled at my feet while I sip my tea. Isn’t that the best?
