Advent Calendars *Potential Spoiler Alert*

I know people have a few different ones. I’m super curious about what each day’s teas are. Is anyone interested in using this thread to share that info?

I didn’t purchase any this year. I think it would be fun if a member would create our own Steepster one that included teas from different companies.

I’d really like Verdant to do one as their blends are so creative!

I was posting tasting notes each day for the Dammann calendar, but I quit drinking them a couple days ago when I got a sinus infection that knocked out my sense of taste. Now I’m going through my old bagged tea just to have something warm to drink while I pout. I can’t even express how irritating this is!

Lala and I have both been regularly logging the Dammann calendar (the day after each advent day’s tea), so you can take a look at our notes to see what’s been in that one so far!

So I was just wondering what everyone was thinking of their tea advent calendars so far. I am doing Dammann Freres calendar and 52 teas 12 days of christmas.

Damman’s calendar wan 24 days , it comes in a little cardboard box that you pop open the window of each day. Each day has a tea sachet. I really am enjoying this one. The teas are very good, although I haven’t liked them all. The downsides are there is just one sachet per day and the teas are listed on the back of the box, so there is a chance to not be surprised.

52 teas is nice as well. 12 sample packs came in a festive red box, included was a tea scoop and paper filters. You scratched off the front of each package on the corresponding day to reveal the tea. This was fun. There was also enough tea for 2-3 servings in each sample pack. Some of these teas are repeats for me, but I guess any regular customer would expect that.

I am interested to hear about Davids tea and Della Terra “teas of Christmas” advent calendars.

Loved my Dammann calendar. I don’t want it to end! Even though several of them are repeats for me, I have had a lot of fun revisiting the teas. I managed not to look at the back so it was a surprise to me every day.

I purchased the 12 Days of Christmas from Herbal Infusions, the 12 Days of Christmas from 52 Teas (have yet to receive it) and Dammann Freres Advent Calendar. I also participated in the 12 Days of Christmas exchange on here, and we’re all starting it tomorrow. I’m the most excited for the last one, because each person sent out 11 packages with their interpretation of their day, plus a tea to go along with it. Complete surprise!
