This was my favorite tea store to go to until the Soho branch opened up. The smell of the shop is so cozy and the people were always helpful and informative about teas and what the special teas of the day were. The store is so small it always feels like it is crowded, since it seems whenever I go there are always many people. It’s a very different atmosphere from the Soho branch but both are welcoming and wonderful.
I went here once and I fell in love. The dumplings were delicious, and so was the tea (of course!). I had an Oolong and my friend had a White Peony. I want to make it a point to go more often because even though it was a little pricey… it’s worth it!
I loved the Harney & Sons store in upstate NY, how could I not love this branch? I wish it was easier to get to (since I rarely end up in Soho), but everyone is very friendly. The few times I’ve gone I have had the chance to try delicious teas (that I ended up buying). The teas are affordable and the quality is excellent. I have always loved their selection of teas and I have yet to be disappointed!
