31 Tasting Notes
Good solid green, nice “roasted” flavors.
Didn’t strike my fancy.
Smells very citrusy, taste is much more restrained. Stands up well to my occasional over-steeping abuse. Might be good to keep around for that orange burst…
This overbrews in a heartbeat… and since I overbrew things at the drop of a hat… not a good combo. Decently spicey+minty if you brew it right, but I’d rather go straight chai for spice or straight mint if I’m in the mood.
It does remind of chocolate, but there’s a bitter overtone or aftertaste to this that I’m just not fond of.
Too light for my tastes.
Used the “authentic” instructions from the Rishi Masala Chai Tin. The vanilla is prominent, the mint subdued. Might have needed to use less milk. The vanilla bean got a little bitter and gritty towards the bottom of the cup; filter didn’t catch it all. A good neutral dessert-drink.
Very citrus nose, but the taste is rather flat in comparison.
I like the floral notes to this. Light and refreshing.
