7 Tasting Notes
I add it to a lot of my teas because I’ve noticed my skin gets clearer the more white tea I drink (presumably it’s the antioxidants kicking it, but eh). For me, it’s basically flavorless.
One of my favorites. Super refreshing in either hot or cold weather. If I don’t know what I want to drink, I make this tea. It’s great blended (standouts are Blackberry Mojito and Dragonfruit Devotion for mixing), but it’s also pretty capable on its own. I’m trying to drink more white tea due to a need to limit my caffeine intake, and this is one I’m pretty happy with.
I’ve tried to like this tea. I’ve mixed it in things, I’ve made it in Yixing teapots…but somehow, all I seem to get is the flavor of dirty bathwater. No orchid as far as the eye can see.
I still need to try a few more ways of making it (wonder if it would taste better in glass?), but so far, this tea is a no for me.
This is the little black dress of Teavana teas. It goes with absolutely everything. Caramel Almond Amaretti? You get a blueberry muffin. Pineapple Kona Pop? Sure, why not. Literally, EVERYTHING this tea is added to turns magical. It’s a tea I’ll buy over and over again.
I. Loathe. This. Tea.
It tastes like cherry cough syrup to me…I’ve tried mixing it with EVERYTHING, and nothing makes it taste better. :/
One of my all-time favorites! It’s got the Silver Needle in it, so it’s super smooth, and the strong jasmine that I love. Very mild and good for bedtime, and it’s got white tea in it too, so I drink this constantly. :)
VERY jasmine-y….less so when unsweetened. Very soothing…I add a little bit of honey and drink it before bed.
