On opening the bag, I was struck with a strong aroma that seemed more akin to a parfumerie than a tea. Very flowery, both from the dry leaves and the steeped cup. Almost too perfumed. Tasted very like the base for a fruit tea. I’m eager to try some different Nilgiri’s to see whether they’re all like this – I’m guessing not.
