Dragonwell

Green Tea by Imperial Tea Garden

Lung Ching Tea, also known as Dragon Well, is produced by hand
through a 10 part process. Grown in the West Lake region in the
Zhejiang Province of China, Dragon Well Lung Ching is distinguished
by its bright emerald green color, full bodied green tea flavor and
flowery notes. Only the bud and first leaf are used in this premium
green tea. Careful manufacturing techniques and growing conditions
have produced a superior green tea loaded with powerful antioxidants,
and polyphenols that measured at slightly over 10% by dry weight.
Historically, Dragon well Lung Ching was given as gifts to emperors
and dignitaries, and today, makes an excellent gift for family and
friends.

Dry leaf smells like sweet grass.
Wet leaves during infusion remind me of buttered veggies when it comes to the aroma.

The color post-infusion is a mild-glowing yellow. There is no scent. The taste is smooth and buttery. Pleasant and satisfying!

This is a nice relaxing cup of Dragonwell! No funky after taste! :)

I absolutely love this tea. Very grassy and aromatic. Best green tea I have tried. It is not from Impreial Tea Company, though I’d like to try it for myself. i had a cup of Serene Teaz’s “imperial Dragonwell” and it was phenomenal. It was from my brother’s tea stash. I needed to comment on this.

I bought this thinking I would like it. BLEH, I am just not a fan of green tea. Gave it away. This was not my first attempt at trying to like green tea, but it was the last.
