From SpecialTeas

Our light, refreshing Lemonade Sonata with pure, natural lemon and lime flavor is the perfect summer thirst-quencher. You’ll want to brew this delicious, citrusy fruit mélange by the pitcher because each sip will have you coming back for more.

Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 7-10 minutes

Ingredients: Apple bits, rosehip peels, apple slices, citrus peels and slices, acidifier citric acid flavor, marigold petals

Health Benefits: Also known as fruit mélanges, fruit blend teas are naturally caffeine-free, rich in antioxidants and vitamins, and are best known for their high content of vitamin C. A typical fruit tea may contain a variety of fruit pieces, with one or two predominant fruit flavors. They often contain hibiscus and rose hips that help strengthen the immune system, as they are rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C, K, E and beta-carotene.

Needed something to break in my new teapot. Wanted something light, with no caffeine, and a lot of vitamin C (since I’m trying to not succumb to this head cold). Decided to go with this one. It’s perfect for tonight. Warm, refreshing, and won’t keep me up too late.

Lemonade Sonata is such a happy-sounding name, too.
