This is a good, smooth ceylon that has quite a bit of dark fruit notes which makes this tea almost perfect with my homemade apricot and cherry scones. I’m not usually big on ceylons but this one is quite delicious.

“hearty, strong and flavorful”…this is true!

This is one of the most lovely Ceylon’s I have ever had! It seems to be the strong-silent type. It’s VERY flavorful for a plain Ceylon but it’s also very smooth and ‘laid-back’.

YUMMY.

Thank you to my SororiTEA Sister TeaEqualsBliss for sending this tea my way.

This is a very mild, pleasantly smooth Ceylon. I love the aroma of this tea – I keep finding myself holding my cup up to my nose and just inhaling the fragrance as the steam wafts from the cup.

While it is mild, it has a lot of flavor – and I am enjoying its complex layers of flavor. I taste a rich, fruity flavor – almost peach/plum -ish. I can also taste piquant floral notes and even a honey-esque note which tastes quite indulgent.

A very nice afternoon tea.

Sri Lanka used to be covered in coffee plantations, then a disease wiped out the coffee plants. Then, tea was tried. It’s been uphill ever since, with the teas improving every year. Lucky for us tea drinkers, especially with this Ceylon blend. See what my humans thought of it: http://is.gd/enlQO

Wow! Dry it smells of the best winey tobacco, but gently, being sweet and fresh. It has lots of nuances and is just plain really good stuff. Brew it the full six minutes. You’ll be glad you did.
