From Butiki Teas

Our luxurious Champagne & Rose Cream pairs our Glenburn Silver Needle with sweet champagne, fresh cream, and delicate rose notes. The initial sip delivers a lingering sweetness and tang of champagne. Rose and cream notes remain long after each sip. The malty flavor of the Silver Needle tea adds to the champagne flavor and there is a bubbliness that can be felt on the tongue. With each continuing sip the rose and cream notes become stronger. We recommend drinking this tea at a cooler temperature.

Ingredients: Glenburn Silver Needle, Rosebuds, Amaranth, Organic Natural Flavoring (vegan)

Recommended Brew Time: 3 minutes 30 seconds
Recommended Amount: 2 teaspoons of tea for 8oz of water
Recommended Temperature: 180 F

I am not usually a fan of roses in tea. However, I am a fan of white tea, especially with cream elements. This is actually pretty good. I like it more than I expected to because the rose is not overpowering. It is more blended into the tea rather than over top of it if ya know what I mean.

I got this from the secret pumpkin swap! Thanks Kaylee! I’ve wanted to try this one so I was happy to see it in my package :] It’s a lovely blend. Soft flavors that are spot on. The rose is stronger than I thought it would be but that’s ok. I love rose. The champagne and the rose blend well together and the cream gives it a bit of a heavy\creamy mouth feel. I really like this blend.

Glad you like it!

Everything about this tea is so beautiful! The dry leaves are gorgeous, it smells fantastic, and once it’s steeped, the taste is unbelievable.

It really does leave a bubbly feeling on your tongue! The rose is what I taste the most, and it lingers very pleasantly after each sip. I’m really glad I got to try this flavor! It was a total delight.

I loved this tea as well, and am always bugging stacy to make more florals. There are never enough out there as far as I’m concerned.

So true! I’d be especially thrilled to try more floral blends from Butiki as well.

Try the rose violet calendula. It changed my life!

Ok so I got a ton of tea today! My mail must have been backed up or something! I got orders from 3 different places that I have put in over the last couple weeks and a swap! I am in tea heaven today! This is the first tea I have ever tried by Butiki and I love love love it!! It is crazy how many different nuances of flavor there are in this tea. I suck at describing tastes, but this isn’t like artificial, chemical floral taste that seems to happen with some tea suppliers, it is very natural tasting and creamy. I now feel like I need to try all the Butiki tea. I wish I would have bought more than 1/2 ounce of this, and I see another Butiki purchase in my near future. I can’t wait to try the other teas I got from them! I wanted to try them all tonight, but the caffeine would have kept me up all night, so I have to wait until the morning to try more :( I’m also excited to try my swap teas from Moraiwe!!

The description of this tea uses the word luxurious, which cannot be more appropriate. From the moment I opened the box I was immediately hit with the beautiful floral fragrance of this tea. Once brewed, the cream and rose flavors play off one another perfectly. The Glenburn Silver Needle base is incredibly interesting not only for its profile that naturally adds another layer of floral and nuttiness but also adds a bubbly, tingly sensation on the tongue. This choice of white tea is divine all on its own and blending it with this choice of flavors is just perfection. If you call yourself a tea lover, this is a must try!

I should have realized I wouldn’t have liked this once I saw the whole rosebuds in this tea. The rose flavor came through extremely strong and overwhelmed everything else. This tea tastes like soap to me, way too perfumy.

Maybe the teaspoon scooped up too many rosebuds. I’m looking at the infuser and I see five buds, which is probably four too many for my taste. I’ll try this again with a better rose to tea ratio.

So Im going to be honest, this was my first order with Butiki and I ordered waaaaay too much but everything just sounded amazing… Anyways… Stacy was nice enough to offer two samples with my order and for one of them I decided on Champagne & Rose Cream – what a great sales strategy because now I simply MUST make another order and really really soon! This is my favorite tea so far – its fresh, delicate and tastes so sweetly of roses with an aftertaste of creamy champagne! What an amazing floral tea – I will be ordering more of this… and very very soon!!!

What a beautiful tea this is. As with most silver needle teas, I always find myself putting more tea in that I typically do, to develop enough flavor to enjoy.

The champagne flavor is subtle and the roses are such a delight. This is one of my favorite teas to sit at my work desk with, because the aroma is just as pleasant.

This beautiful tea has been very aptly named. Its texture is wonderfully creamy. I’ve been trying to find a good rose tea, and sometimes the dry tea would smell rosy in the bag, but once brewed, the aroma would be gone. I do feel the rose here! It is not the smell of rose oil or the fresh flower on the bush so much; it is more like the rose in potpourri. I am not so sure about the champagne. The tea is somehow mellow although it manages to be nicely flavored at the same time (apparently, I like flavored teas). It feels comforting on a windy day like today. Many thanks to the Steepster(s) who recommended it.

I’m not big on rose teas, but this one is fabulous. The rose flavor isn’t overpowering at all and the white tea base is very light and pleasant. I don’t get the creaminess from this as others do, but there is a slight sweetness. This tea is perfect on its own, so don’t dare try it with any additives.
