Everyone has their own special bedtime ritual. For some it’s curling up in bed with a good book. Others prefer a nice long soak in the tub. We think there’s nothing better than a warming cup of tea. And this sweet and delicately floral tisane is all you need to drift off to dreamland. It’s got a calming base of chamomile – a flower renowned for its relaxing properties. Plus a deliciously smooth touch of honey and a lulling dash of rose petals. Calorie-free and dreamy as can be, this is one bedtime sip that’ll definitely have you seeing stars.

Ingredients: Chamomile, rose petals, cornflower petals, stevia extract, natural and artificial honey flavouring.

Price: $9.98 per 50g

I didn’t remember that this existed, but came across it last night and decided to pair it with Mango Lassi. In comparison, I think I like the aroma of this one more, but there’s somewhat more chamomile in the flavour, which I’m less fond of. I also am not sure that I like how the honey came across in the flavour – I think I’d prefer to just add honey. Regardless, it was still a nice evening drink.

I am not typically a fan of chamomile tea, but this one seems to be an exception. It’s not hidden at all, but the warm comfort of honey really balances it. The bag listed stevia (my least favourite ingredient that seems to be in a lot of the teas lately) but I don’t get it in the tea thankfully. I don’t find it too sweet, and it’s very comforting and lovely at the end of the day.

I am not usually a big fan of chamomile teas but I actually found myself enjoying this tea.

Pot-pourri anyone? This is way too flowery!

Disclaimer: I’m far from a tea connaisseur/enthusiast. My notes are not meant to be a review for the tea community, but rather for myself so I know what to buy or not buy again (I wish there was a way to keep notes private).

Agreed completely! I’m not a HUGE tea fan (but I’m trying to drink more kinds) and I’d love to be able to keep reviews private for myself for the future. This tea tasted like grandmothers flowery perfume to me! :( Now I have to decide what to do with a can of tea I don’t want.

I love this tea! First off, it’s really pretty with the rose petals and chamomile flowers. And the honey flavor is not overwhelming at all. So good before bed.

Are you Italian? If so, open a bag of this tea and breath deep. Does it smell familiar to you? Maybe like a certain Italian sweet treat. It sure did to me! I sniffed it and thought for a minute …“AH TORRONE!”
I’m a sucker for good marketing. If they had called this torrone tea, I would have bought it by the bucket. Maybe I’ll make my own label and stick it over top :)

Definitely a welcome addition to my bed time tea collection!

Got this as a 50g frequent steeper award. It comes in a HUGE bag. I do like it, it’s very honey heavy. Reading the ingredients now I did notice the stevia extract while drinking it but figured it was artificial honey flavouring I was tasting. The bag will last a long time and I don’t plan on buying more when it runs out. Probably the prettiest loose tea I’ve ever seen though!

I am very fond of this herbal; although I normally prefer to blend herbals with pure teas, this one is fine on it’s own (especially before bed). If you are going to blend it I really recommend a floral or grassy oolong, but recently I mixed it with DavidsTea vanilla oolong and it gave it a great dessert-y depth that made the floral notes a little less soapy taking a backseat to the vanilla.

It is definitely not good iced in my opinion. It also needs to be brewed strong as the flavour profile is a little weak. No problem- the tea is so light and fluffly its pretty cheap even when you are using extra scoops!
