I am trying to finish up the 50g bag of The Skinny tea that I bought last year. I really don’t enjoy the taste of this tea, it reminds me of dishwater and I see someone else below has made that comparison as well so I don’t feel so bad, but I feel as though it has some great health benefits so I will perservere. So I decided to add some of the spearmint tea to it to see if it make it taste better but it did not, now it just tastes like minty dishwater :) One of my friends suggested sprinkling some cinnamon into it so I will try that next time.

This is the tea I was most excited about getting from DAVIDs Tea. And I am not dissapointed in it at all. The Citrus scent is wonderful when opening the package and continues while steeping. I am not getting a strong hit of ginseng but am enjoying the ginger flavour. I think this may also be a great tea for when I am not feeling 100%.

Pretty good cup of tea; I would only drink it after a meal though. I like a cup of tea with LOTS of flavour and The Skinny is really just a health tea in my opinion. A tasty health tea, but still a health tea.

This tea is so amazing. It’s an anytime of the day tea as far as I’m concerned. Of course, when you have those days that you just ate a little more than our daily recommended intakes, this tea makes you feel better. What I like is the ginger in it, so refreshing. It has a great taste and I never need to add anything sweet to it.

This tea has beautiful citrus undertones, reminiscent of Citron Oolong — another one of David’s Tea blends I adore. The depth of flavour is one that is deep and tasty. I just can’t decide whether I like this better than Citron Oolong or not. Explains why I keep both in my cupboard!

Skinny from DavidsTea is my favourite. It’s a daily tea, and I love it in the morning especially. The kick of the ginger and ginseng are a perfect match with the dark oolong… love it! :)
I also appreciate that it can be steeped multiple times, and over-steeping isn’t something I need to worry about.

That is one heck of a good tea. Didn’t like it at first but it grew on me and now I can’t get enough. Keeps me wide awake and still tastes good and the second and third steeping.

This tea is addictive in the sense that every time I have a big meal, I feel I NEED to have a cup. Not because I’m worried about gaining weight, but It’s just so refreshing and will cut down any bloating or digestive upsets. Did I mention refreshing? So refreshing :) I usually don’t like fruity teas unless they’re cold, otherwise I feel like I’m drinking hot juice, but this has just the right hint of orange flavor. I still haven’t mastered the art of steeping. But I find 4 minutes for this tea to be plenty.
