I have bought today a sampler called Discovery Collection and while I look to Lipton more with a despect, I could not resist. It has got pyaramid sachets and there are real ingredients than flavourings only. So this one contains true vanilla and caramel powder.

I don’t know why I started with this one, while others being earl grey, forest fruits, peach mango, and lemon; but maybe because I was craving something sweet; although I have eaten a whole pack of sour candy a little earlier.

It is truly very sweet; caramel being stronger than the vanilla and vanilla is sweet, but alas not creamy as I have hoped. But I am glad that I noticed both. On ther other hand, the base is covered totally with those flavours and not really distinctive in any way.

I am sure that this sampler will bring me lots of joy with flavoured black teas that I have been a little missing in my stash recently and I was craving them too. I know, it’s Lipton; and pretty much cheap (150 CZK for 50 sachets), but better than nothing and it is easy to offer it to any guests.

This one is delicious. It is one of the few teas my husband likes as it is so Sweet. Its like a treat, like a candy. Smells very good and Sweet( my hubby notices). I think this is easy to like for everyone, kids and men as well. As long as they dont dislike Sweet teas.

Aroma is very perfumey, definitely more toffee than caramel, sweet. There is strong vanilla, and caramel, of course.
Fortunately taste is only slightly sweet, a bit earthy, with nice vanilla notes, toffee and caramel.
Nut really my, nomen omen, cup of tea, but it’s really suitable for desserts.

I got a new box of this last night. I forgot how much I love it. It’s like having sweet, caramel-y dessert. But it’s healthy.

It’s amazing as a hot tea, and positively divine as an iced tea. I hope they never stop stocking this at my favorite stores.

This is a mildly pleasant tea, but not one I could drink all the time. I like the aroma but feel that Lipton tried to hard to bring out that caramel flavour. I was left disappointed and with a sticky feeling palate.

Having this while on holiday and staying with some friends of mine in America. If I think about this in terms of caramel, then yes, I can really taste it. However, overall this reminds me too much of coffee. I tried adding milk, I think it added to the caramel-i-ness, but not to the anti-coffee-ness. I think it may be better with sugar, but I’m not sure.
My friends apparently like it, but it’s not quite for me. Ah well — we all have our own preferences, yes?
