The artificial bergamot flavoring really comes through on this tea. The flavor is fake and chemical tasting, which makes this Market Spice tea a definite pass for me. Switch it up to using actual plant flavoring and I will consider trying it again.

A very nice digestive tisane. It is rare to find a tisane that is good for digestion yet contains no mint. This one fits that bill perfectly. Definitely worth seeking out.
In for a little early evening pick me up. A nice familiar friend that I haven’t had in my cup for too long.
This is really an amazing blend with the mints and the rosemary. Unlike any herbal tisane I have had to date. The hawthorn and apple round this blend out quite nicely. Definitely an interesting tisane to seek out in your travels.
After traveling for nearly 27 hours nothing can beat a hot shower followed by this blissful tea. It has a great balance of rose and limeflowers underneath a chamomile base. What a wonderful to relax into the evening.

Overall I am really enjoying this tea. I think I need to go back to make another cup or two today. It doesn’t seem to hold up well for a second steeping though. Perhaps giving it a fourth minute would have helped.

I like oolong. I enjoy Jasmine. For some reason this morning this combo isn’t working for me today. Maybe I will like it better on the second, third and fourth infusions.

Following a night of poor sleep, an extra strong brew of this Earl Grey will help me get through the haze of this day.
The nose has a lovely floral scent but that left me a little worried it would be overpowering the Ceylon. Upon tasting this tea, mild bergamot flavor makes this Earl Grey a winner for me. I really enjoyed the hints of citrus as the liquor cooled. This was a nice departure today from my nearly exclusive green tea drinking of 2010.
My first taste of Sencha and I really enjoy it. I have to say it is unlike any other flavor I have had with a tea. I am looking forward to trying other Japanese green teas from Den’s Tea. The best $3 I have spent in 2010. Can’t beat this sampler pack.
Wow! Having a couple of “Jasmine” teas in the past didn’t leave me expecting much. I received a sample of this tea when I got a Bodum Assam 17-Ounce Glass Tea Press as a Christmas gift. I wish I didn’t wait so long to try these Jasmine Pearls. It has a truly wonderful flavor! There is a hint of sweetness in this tea that I don’t think I have noticed before with any green leaf. This is definitely a tea to try if you haven’t yet. Of course now I am wondering if it is just the Green Tree version that is this good or all Jasmine Pearls are like this. Guess I will have to taste more to know for sure.
Enjoying my first cup today with the third steeping of these leaves. Slowly I am getting the hang of preparing oolong correctly.
Starting of the year with something organic and green. A great way to kick it all off, I think.
Making it a double today.
Back to the basics this morning. A nice little reminder of the difference between of bagged and loose tea.

Very nice. Can hardly taste the monkey though. :)
