89 Tasting Notes
Wow!
I got a sample of this tea and it was gone in 4 days. I ended up buying a cake. This tea has amazing energy, a full and sweet body, and a long range of tasting notes. It left a long and lasting sweetness in the mouth that seemed to linger for a great amount of time. It’s complex, but still accesssable enough for any level of expert tea drinker to enjoy.
Out of Paul’s 2016 Spring pressings, this is my absolute favorite.
Flavors: Floral, Fruity, Green, Sugar, Sweet

I’m working my way through various samples from White2Tea. After having multiple sessions with this tea, 7 can honestly say I’m not a fan. This tea has body charactics of Menghai material, which I’m typically a fan of. However, although this tea has nice energy, the exucution of flavor doesn’t do it for me.
My only issue is that this tea’s tastes ‘airy’. Like, the flavor is thick and everything but it tastes like the backbone of this tea’s body went missing. Even on different temperatures and steeping times, something was still missing.
Flavors: Bitter, Grass, Hay, Herbs, Pleasantly Sour, Sage

I don’t usually review teas to a score of 100, but I though this tea was damn good. I’ve been hoarding my beeng of it because I don’t want to run low on it.
I don’t think a tea as flavorful and as explosive as this one will ever be made again. My heart lies with Bosch <3
I did multiple sessions of Tyler and I think it’s quite an elegant tea. It’s a great transition into the more complex teas, and it has amazing flavor. It’s still young, and it’s still temperature sensitive. I think that this is a great tea overall and is something I would highly recommend.
I did a full review of it on my blog here…
Flavors: Floral, Green, Herbaceous, Herbs, Honey, Sweet

I can’t give an accurate description of this tea because I just got it in the mail yesterday.
It still needs time to air out, but I’m too impatient. I’ll review this tea again and give it a rating when it airs out :)
Anyways, right off the bat this tea is very thick and oily – which costs your entire mouth that leaves a light cooling sensation as it dissipates from your palat. It’s got rich warm green notes, almost like a purple tea, and has an excellent sweetness that hits you like brick to the face. This is worthy of a sample – to say nonetheless.
I’ll come back to this and give it a more accurate description once it airs out more from shipping :)
Yummy!
This tea isn’t ‘White2Tea’ quality, but it is delicious. This tea taste like Passion flower, honeysuckle and bee pollen. My mother has a huge garden in her back yard and actually grows passion fruit and honeysuckle. I harvest the flowers to make herbal tea, and this sheng reminded me of what that combination of pollen-powered flowers tasted like.
This sheng really shines in the first 5-8 steeps, but afterwards turns green and a bit bitter. Although this doesn’t hold out on great flavor on later steeps, it’s really good for what it’s worth.
I like this much better than Mandala’s other sheng, and is one of my favorites by them. I’d reccomend – to the least – getting a sample of this one.
Flavors: Autumn Leaf Pile, Bitter, Green, Honeysuckle, Sweet

I think this tea is really high in tea quality. The combination of sour and smoky flavors really does make this tea taste like a sugar cookie.
I don’t think I would order it again, mainly because I’m not a fan of the weird mix of tasting notes. However, it is really high quality and the leaf looks like it was just harvested yesterday.

I haven’t spent a lot of time with this tea but the few sessions i’ve had with it were amazing. It was light and floral. Incredibly clean tasting and very smooth. It’s almost got light fruity notes in it.
This is a tea that i’m going to definitely buy more of in the future.
Flavors: Floral, Honeysuckle
I love the qi and huigan on this one.
