My mom got this one at T.J. Maxx, kind of Bargain tea, its not bad and I guess Ridgeways is a respected brand in England
8 Tasting Notes
Much better I ever expected it to be! Also I think it would actually taste good with a little sugar which is rare for me but It’s not really tea so that makes sense but I dont believe I even have sugar in the house to try it, I bet honey would also be delicious, maybe my nex Adagio purchase might be Honey.
My little brother says it tastes grassy but I don’t see how, I enjoy it greatly and will probably be buying more in the future
As others have said the smell of this tea is very redolent of bergamot, I love it so much, based solely on the smell this would get a 100, although its taste is not bad in any respect, what I have to say is it took a little getting used to, at first sip I was surprised, it didnt quite taste like the Earl greys I have tried in the past. It tasted much like it smelt which like I said wasnt bad I just wasnt expecting it but after I adjusted I enjoyed this, but still reletively the same enjoyance as the bagged bigelow earl grey
Thought I’d try this one again because I want to conserve my 3 remaining earl grey bags until my adagio shipment gets to me on Wednesday.
This time I tried steeping at a lower temperature and adding some lemon juice and although it doesn’t make it much better, it does make it slightly more enjoyable, I’m happy I had this in my cupboard after all.
My girlfriend had some of this tea, the smell is fairly enticing but I felt the berry taste was much too strong and it tasted more of hot juice than tea, I like the pyramid idea although this is the only one I’ve tried
Now this one is truly a plain black tea, its definetly not bad, mine was some what watery, and because of its lack of any unique flavor its not great either, probably wont get it again, but others may like it more than I
Tastes like Dandelion, I haven’t had it in a while but when I did, I really didn’t like it, I might have prepared it wrong because it was in the early days of my tea drinking but just the memory might keep me away
I got this tea some what as a random gift a few weeks ago, I’ve been drinking my school’s Earl Grey (Not sure of the brand) for quite some time, but that simply tasted like generic black tea which I had assumed was what Earl Grey was a generic black tea, however after trying this tea its obvious my schools didn’t get it right, this has an amazing taste and the aroma of the bag prior to steeping smells distinctly of Froot Loops, which I thought was cool, esp because it tasted nothing of Froot Loops, which would be weird, this is definitely a tea I will be getting again.
