Lupicia Happy Bags 2015
I just got my $50 purchase and this is what it contained:

Overall I’m fairly pleased but I wish I had gotten fewer teabags… there’s a few in the set I know I don’t like and I never drank the Elderflower & Chamomile from last year!
seems like the $30 and $50 tier has a lot of tea bags this year. They year i got my bag I had only 1 item that was tea bags.
The variety from those teabags is kind of cool! (I understand wanting fewer bagged teas though).
My $50 happy bag arrived today and it was exactly the same as yours which is a nice assortment but a little disappointing (too many tea bags)… I’m interested to know what was in the $100 bag for comparison
@beelicious – yea I can only imagine they wanted to offload the gift sets that didn’t sell and a lot of the $ amount of that is the packaging. I was a bit happier with last year’s selection as I’m not a fan of tons of packaging and individually sealed bags. I would be interested too about the $100 bags
it definitely looks that way!! This is my first year purchasing a happy bag and although its good value I don’t think I’ll be in a rush to buy again next year.
My $50 bag will be here tomorrow. Let you know what I get (guessing the same assortment above). :)
!! After seeing what people got in their $50 bag I got excited because I was looking forward to getting the holiday teabag assortment. But it seems like they might have ran out near the end? I think I got one of the last $50 bag orders on the website before it sold out, and instead of the holiday boxed tea bag set, I got a regular boxed 30 teabag set and a packet of Orzo 50g. Otherwise, had the same teabag and loose leaf selection as TeaBrat.

Assuming that the tea bag set is worth $12.5, the overall value of my bag was $200 exactly.
Gosh, that’s alot of tea. Alot of these expiration dates are July/August 2015, so I’ll be drinking Lupicia like mad this year! The matcha au lait powder expires in February though. =(
Wow fast shipping, and nice haul. Unopened, the non-matcha might be good beyond that exp. :)
Yeah I figure, especially for the non flavored teas. But I got alot of flavored ones. I wonder if the dating on them is from the date they blend the teas or it’s something about the stability of the flavoring they use. I probably won’t open some of them for awhile, and I usually give my own dating of about 9 months from opening the teas, if nothing else than to remind me to drink them and keep my cupboard from exploding too badly. Oddly the tea bags have the longest dating, some until Aug 2016.
My $50 Happy Bag finally arrived after ordering a week ago. I got the same contents as Roochipoochi. I have never ordered from Lupicia before so I am very excited to get such a great assortment of their teas.
