Hey steepsters! I'm Back and need reccomendations on where u buy your tea please.

I’ve been missing in action on here for a few years, I know I can’t believe it either-what was I thinking going back to the coffee bean?!?! Would love to hear about your favorite hotspots online to buy tea. I like green, white, and black teas, an occasional chai…thanks everyone! Can’t wait to scan around and see what you’re all up to!

gee thanks Tea Sipper for the link. i can’t wait to check them out. i only want to buy sachet tea. i love Yogi tea collection and twinings too. Sadly to say that it cost me a fortune to get them send to europe when ordering from US. does anyone know how i can get cheaper postage charges ?

Janie where are you?

Janie Teo said

i am a Malaysian and living in Europe, Belgium.

You can order Twinings from the UK: http://www.twinings.co.uk

Yogi tea is also in Europe (http://www.yogitea.eu). It doesn’t look like you can order from their website, but you can probably buy them from whichever Amazon site you use.

i aleady did my purchase from twinings uk and oh yes they have wonderful teabags n their teas are also taste good same goes to Yogi europe. Since i am intrested in their wrappers i also like to have both tas from onther country as different country have their own tea types production. Last year i ordered abt $65 from States n wow their Yogi wrappers are so much nicer. Now i am looking forward to order more other brands but their tax charges to send goods to belgium are almighty expensive :(

i checked them all already but most of them are loose type, do you have any idea where i can get hold of individual wrapped type of teas too ?

OH teabags! I don’t know much about where to get those but there is luckyvitamin.com which DOES have international shipping but I’m not sure how expensive… they probably have better websites wherever you’re at anyway.

http://what-cha.com is a great newer company you may want to check out.

I will, thanks!

I second What-Cha, I am on a crazed mission to try all their teas, and so far I have found several favorites and have not disliked a single one I have tried. Their Kenyan teas (especially the white ones) are a little mind blowing ;)

WHOA, how did I not know about these guys before?! Thanks for spreading the good word!

Janie Teo said

For green, white, and black Chinese teas I would suggest:
http://teahong.com Top end, highly reliable
http://www.jkteashop.com/ not very consistent, but with a bit of luck you can really get good batches for a fair price
http://www.postcardteas.com/ a few good greens, not for black and white though
http://www.cantonteaco.com/ selected teas; these guys look at quality rather than quality
http://www.nannuoshan.org/ this is my shop, so I leave the comments to the others.
