Our Wuyi Oolong is 60-80% oxidized, and steeps a deep golden hues with crisp and earthy tones and a slightly peppery finish.

Another from my black tea sampler from Cuppa. It’s crisp, with a smoky-honey quality. A very light black tea. If I get it again, I’ll brew at boiling rather than 195 (I used the oolong setting on the Breville).

5 tasting notes

This tea has a nice, honey-colored liquor which foreshadows its taste. First note is smoke, then mellows to honey. Very tasty. And they’re not kidding about the peppery finish.
